CCF = 100 Cubic Feet. A general reference would be around 15 CCF per employee per month, but this varies a lot, better check last month’s gas receipt.

A general reference would be around 105 KWH per employee per month, but this varies a lot, better check last month’s energy receipt.

It is complicated to calculate a company’s footprint with this little detail
that we ask for. These calculations are mere estimations of what an average
office space would spend if they had the numbers you are inputting in.
As you are probably aware, there are many different calculators and studies
trying to measure different aspects of a business operations’ footprint. We have
made a compilation of these different results and managed to set averages of
usage, and then use these averages to give you a quick reference of about how
much your company is contributing to the planet pollution and how much you would
need to compensate for it in terms of trees planted.
The absorption of CO2 per mature tree per year is a more static and less
debatable number among the community. Nevertheless, the survival rate of a
seedling to a mature tree in these kind of projects are not near 100%, so we
assume that one in every three trees will get to this point. Likewise, when a
tree gets to certain adult age, it reaches its peak point of CO2 absorption,
this is why we only count 5 years of full production in our calculation.
If what you are looking for is a detailed study of your footprint we can help
you with that but this is not the right tool. Give us a shout and we’ll get you

and suggested actions to take.

As a business owner there are basically two ways to help the planet: reduce your
company’s footprint and invest in the planet’s future.
Reduce your footprint: We keep a blog where we suggest business owners the best
practices and changes they can do in general to make their CO2 consumption
smaller. Have a look at some of these actions to take in our Tips & Thoughts section.
Invest in the planet: As Ecorely we also offer the service of donating to
several tree planting initiatives around the world over the Eden Project
network. Our goal is to make it easy for companies to have this contribution
automated and also give tools for them to display this contribution, such as our
Digital Contributor
Profile. You can start taking action for as low as 10
USD (around 22 trees planted), contribute now.
Not very accurate, as mentioned on the first question, this is merely an
estimation based on the global/country consumption averages and the activity
selected.
